Solved the need to consolidate over 8,000 job descriptions inherited through multiple mergers

OUTCOME

We successfully consolidated 3,690 jobs into 413 jobs, complete with redesigned job descriptions to work throughout multiple entity health care system. We remapped jobs to appropriate job family and created levels within the job families. We worked closely with the Human Resources and Compensation staff within the health system, to complete this task a month ahead of schedule. This allowed the current HR staff to focus on the SSM system goals and exceed their deadline targets.

Created a complete handbook and all policies. Helped distribute and ensure handbooks were received. Handled multiple employee relations issues, including advising through a termination and handling and subsequently winning unemployment claim.

OUTCOME

We successfully created and implemented a handbook, complete with policies not previously introduced in this small company. This allowed the company to set expectations of their staff and hold employees accountable, thereby allowing the organization to run more efficiently. Additionally, we provided training to the organization’s owner and administrative team, which eliminated the need for them to hire additional staff.
